King Cascade Conference 1,600-meter champion

Coupeville High School's Tyler King was crowned the Cascade Conference 1,600 meter champion Wednesday on the first day of the league league championship track meet at Cedarcrest High School.

King ran a time of 4:26.66 good for 10 points to put the Wolves in sixth place after the first day of competition.

Lakewood leads in total points with 30 and King's is second with 22.
