Granite Falls pitcher Alyssa Arndt proved to be too much for the young Coupeville High School softball team to handle in a Friday afternoon Cascade Conference game.

Arndt gave up one hit and struck out five as the Tigers shutout the Wolves 11-0 in a game called after five innings of play on the 10-run rule.

The Tigers collected 12 hits in the game and scored at least one run in every inning but the top of the third.

Coupeville remains winless in the Cascade Conference at 0-8 and 1-9 overall.
