Knights shutout Wolf Pack

Hosting King's High School in a Tuesday evening Cascade Conference soccer match, Coupeville was shutout 3-0.

The loss was the third-straight shutout defeat for the Wolves who had their season record fall to 3-5 in league matches and 5-5 overall.

Nick Swanson gave the Knights a 1-0 lead at the 23-minute mark of the first half and Gunnar Ildhuso put the second goal in the net 19 minutes into the second half of action.

With eight minutes remaining in the contest, Ryan McCormick put a cap on King's scoring with the final goal of the match.

King's is 4-3 in league matches and 6-3 overall.
