Coupeville tops Turks 2-0 in soccer

The first half of Thursday's Cascade Conference soccer match between Coupeville and Sultan high schools was scoreless after the 40 minutes of action.
However, the Wolf Pack got their offense in gear after the break.
Eight minutes into the second half, Tony Sherman scored off a Mitch Stevenson assist for a 1-0 Coupeville lead, and Justin Adams put in an unassisted insurance goal at the 54 mimute mark to seal the 2-0 victory over the Turks.
The Wolves are 2-2 in league matches and 4-2 overall.
