Wolves place on track at Everett

Four members of the Coupeville High School track team earned first-place finishes in Thursday's dual track meet at Everett Memorial Stadium against Archbishop Murphy.

For the boys, Tyler King won the 3,200-meter run in a time of 10:11.00 and senior Curtis Habeck cleared the bar at 5-10 to win the high jump event.

In the girl's half of the meet, sophomore Kyra Ilyankoff was a double winner capturing her specialty event, the javelin throw, with a toss of 111-0. Her second win came in the shot put with a throw of 29-7.50. Jessie Hesselgrave was the other victor for the Coupeville girls, winning the high jump at 4-6.
