Lake Stevens netters best Oak Harbor 4-3

The Oak Harbor and Lake Stevens high school tennis teams finally got the match that was originally scheduled for March 19 played Wednesday afternoon after several days delay due to inclement weather conditions.

The Wildcats won two of the four singles matches and one of three in doubles, as the Vikings pulled out a narrow 4-3 victory.

Erin Neilon captured the third singles match beating Chelsea Boren 6-4, 7-6 (4)and Molly DeLeon was a straight-set winner 6-2, 6-0 over Kristen Call in fourth singles.

The third doubles team of Abi Cone and Beverly Gianno were 6-4, 6-2 winners over the Lake Stevens team of Makenzie Grafe and Makenzie Henderson.

Oak Harbor is 1-1 in WesCo North matches this season.
