Snohomish tops Oak Harbor 6-3

Tuesday's WesCo North baseball game between Snohomish and Oak Harbor high schools on the Wildcats' home field was well played by both teams.

The Panthers scored three runs in the first inning and the Wildcats unable to overcome the early deficit and lost 6-3.

Oak Harbor (2-3) scored a pair of runs in the bottom of the second inning to narrow the margin, but couldn't take the lead.

The Wildcats had six hits in the game and got some strong relief pitching from Kurtis Weaver, who gave up no earned runs in three plus innings of work.
