The winter sports seasons have come to an end for athletes at Oak Harbor High School and eight Wildcats have been selected as WesCo North all-stars.

In swimming, senior John Hu was voted a first-team all-league performer thanks to his first-place finishes in the 200 individual medley and the 100 butterfly events at the league championship meet.

Hu finished second at the state meet in the individual medley and sixth in the butterfly.

Wrestler John Tuttle, also a senior, was voted a member of the first team for his league championship victory in the 140-pound weight division.

The only underclassman to receive first-team honors was junior basketball sharpshooter Jessica Denmon.

Also in basketball, senior Jennifer Jansen was named a second-team WesCo North all-star, as was freshman Michael Washington Jr.

Receiving honorable mention recognition in basketball were juniors Nicole Mowbray and Rashaad Smith, along with sophomore Jay Stout.
