1st-place Murphy blanks Wolves | Soccer

The state's second-ranked 2A soccer team, Archbishop Murphy, remained unbeaten by stopping Coupeville High School 7-0 Tuesday, April 8, in Everett.

The Wildcats received two goals each from Parker Buchanan and Gabe Astone to stay on top of the Cascade Conference with a 5-0 record and up their season mark to 6-0-1.

Coupeville (2-3, 3-3) meets the team at the other end of the league standings, Granite Falls (0-5, 0-7), at 6 p.m. Friday, April 11, at Mickey Clark Field.
