Wildcats 3rd in first Wesco meet | Boys golf

The Oak Harbor High School boys golf team finished in the middle of the pack of the first Wesco North regular season meet Thursday, March 27, at Everett's Legion Golf Course.

The Wildcats finished third out of five teams with 312 strokes. Stanwood, behind medalist Halen Davis' two-under 49, won the 13-hole match with 287 strokes, followed by Marysville Getchell with 293. Everett carded a 347 and Marysville-Pilchuck a 367.

Oak Harbor's Mac Kerfoot shot a 55, third-best in the field of 29.

Other Wildcat results: Hunter Adams, 59; Raiden Poe, 61; Steven Timm, 66; Tom Dale, 71; Aaron Kelley, 71.

Oak Harbor joins Everett, Shorecrest and Shorewood at Whidbey Golf Club at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 8.
