Wildcat United wins home meet | Middle school cross country

Lifted by a strong performance by its eighth-grade teams, Wildcat United won a three-team middle school cross country meet at Windjammer Park Thursday, Oct. 17.

The eighth-grade boys captured second through sixth places and the girls had five top-10 finishers to carry Wildcat United to a 152-156 win over Anacortes. Cascade of Sedro-Woolley didn't field enough runners to earn a team score.
