King's defeats Coupeville | Soccer

King's, one of the state's top teams, defeated the Coupeville soccer team 9-0 Thursday, Oct. 3, in Shoreline.

Three girls scored multiple goals for the Knights (6-1, 6-2), led by the hat trick of Beth Stella.

Wolves coach Troy Cowan said, "We played well, King's is just a great team. We played to our ability and will keep trying to get better."

He added, "Luvera girls (Ivy and Ana) played really smart and raised their game. We just need to stay focused on us and keep working hard."

The Wolves (1-6, 1-7) go to Cedarcrest (5-2, 5-4) at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8.
