Oak Harbor turns it around | Volleyball

The Oak Harbor High School volleyball team has struggled to close out matches this fall, but not Thursday, Oct. 3, at Shorecrest.

After dropping the first set 25-23, the Wildcats hung tough and took the final three games 25-21, 25-21, 25-23.

The win broke a series of frustrating losses for Oak Harbor (1-1, 1-6).

Kayleigh Harper recorded a double-double with 11 kills and 10 blocks. Claire Anderson added 13 kills and MaKenna Martyn five.

Oak Harbor hosts Mountlake Terrace (2-0, 5-2) at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8.
