Kris Miller, 14, of Oak Harbor put on quite a show at the Washington State Trapshooting Championships held in Olympia earlier this summer.

Miller broke 98 out of 100 targets to claim the junior trophy. He then went on to shoot 92 out of 100 for the handicap and junior trophy. Finally, he won the Class A event by shooting an impressive 197 out of 200 targets. He hit his first 100 targets en route to the Class A title.

In order to win his trophies, Miller had to go up against 325 shooters from all over the state, including some out-of-state competitors.

He has picked up three yards in his handicap this year, moving from 22 last year to 25.
