Bertelson paces Legion AA hitters

Outfielder David Bertelson led the Oak Harbor AA Legion baseball team this season in five different offensive categories.

Bertelson, who will be a senior this fall, had the most hits (47), RBI (25), doubles (11), triples (8), and home runs (1) over 40 games. He was also second in runs (25), third in batting average (.395, 47-119), and fourth in stolen bases (10).

Senior Ryan Johnson led the team in hitting (.418, 23-55), was third in RBI (15), and third in doubles (6). Senior Aaron Gibbons was second in hitting (.406, 28-69).

Johnson led all pitchers with the most wins (5) and strike outs (46). He had the third best earned run average (2.57).

Erik Sinks had the top ERA (1.75).
