Though Burlington scored first - the first time in five games any team had ever scored on the Jets - the Jets were able to hold Burlington to that one scoreThe Jets' defense, led by Jake Rouser, Josh Eacrett and Chris Gomez held Burlington's strong running back to short yardage.Junior DivisionOak Harbor Warriors 8, Stanwood 6 The undefeated Warriors came from behind to beat Stanwood Saturday, improving their record to 5-0 in the 11 to 12 year-old division of Oak Harbor's Youth Football League.Stanwood scored first but not until the third quarter but its extra point attempt was blocked by the Warrior defensive line.The Warriors answered back with a fumble recovery in their own end zone by Tyler Ricco.Tyson Boon and Gabe Vest combined for more than 100 yards rushing. Solo tackles by Josh Yoder and Cameron Kays and an interception by Andy Alexander were key to the Warrior victory.North County 35, Intruders 0Strength and speed helped Burlington shut out the Intruders Saturday.
