"Early pheasant hunting offeredThere will be a special early pheasant season for seniors, 65 years and older.The senior season will be Monday through Friday, Sept. 25-29. It will take place at the Upper Game Range located on Crescent Harbor Road. Pheasants for the seniors were released on Monday.All Washington State license and game law requirements pertain during these early seasons. In addition, Whidbey Island Naval Air Station Upland Hunting Permits are required. These can be obtained free of charge from the Ault Field Security Office (Building 250). There are a variety of age divisions from 14-year-old and under.
