NWSC takes tile | Youth soccer

The North Whidbey Soccer Club GU-12 team captured the silver division championship at the Skagit Firecracker Tournament at Skagit River Park in Burlington June 14-16.

North Whidbey, coached by Mike Lonborg and Sean Hutchinson, defeated the Whatcom Soccer Academy Rapids in the championship match 2-1 behind goals from Jozalynn Hernandez and Rebecca Blazich.

The NWSC GU-15 team, coached by Ryan Baker and Troy Cowan, finished second in its division.
