Oak Harbor 3rd out of 5 | Boys golf

Oak Harbor High School’s boys golf team finished in the middle of the pack in a five-team match at Whidbey Golf Club Tuesday, April 23.

Meadowdale captured the match with 410 strokes, followed by Marysville Getchell at 442. Oak Harbor led in close finish for third, edging Mountlake Terrace and Marysville-Pilchuck 471-472-476.

Caleb Knaack paced the Wildcats with an 88. Steven Timm was one stroke back, while Hunter Adams shot 94, Raiden Poe 95 and Ben Fikse 105.

Oak Harbor’s final home match is at 3 p.m. Friday when Lakewood, Lynnwood and Sedro-Woolley visit for a nonleague contest.
