Oak Harbor 5th in 21-team tournament | Girls golf

Oak Harbor High School girls golf team took fifth place at the 21-team Burlington-Edison Invitational at Skagit Golf and Country Club Monday, April 15.

Bellingham won the team title with 337 strokes; Oak Harbor finished with 433.

Annie Leete topped the Wildcats with an 88 on the par-73 course. Bree Roderos shot 107 and KC Winfield 109 over 18 holes, while Cassidy Gurich carded 61 and Katie Brockway 68 over nine.

Katie Lee of Central Kitsap took medalist honors with a 71.

Oak Harbor faces Stanwood and Shorewood at 3 p.m. at Jackson Park Tuesday, April 16.
