Gavin Stewart, with an assist from Alex Krantz, scored for Oak Harbor, but that was it for the Wildcat soccer team in a 3-1 loss at Marysville-Pilchuck Monday, April 1.

The win enabled the Tomahawks (2-1-1, 3-2-2) to skip over Oak Harbor (2-2, 3-3) into second place in the Wesco 3A North.

Coach Brian Thompson said, "We had a hard time handling their speed at first but settled in and started taking control when a foul was called in the penalty box (setting up) their second goal."

The Wildcats host 3A South leader Glacier Peak (3-0-1, 3-3-1) at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 3.
