M-P topples Oak Harbor | Tennis

Marysville-Pilchuck picked up its first tennis win of the season at the expense of Oak Harbor, knocking off the visiting Wildcats 5-2 Thursday, March 28.

Oak Harbor received wins in fourth singles from Brittany Rigby 6-2, 6-1 and in first doubles from Chelsea Admire and Jamie Estrella 6-3, 5-7, 6-3.

Other results:

Singles: 1, McKenzie Perry lost 6-2, 6-0; 2, Kyla McKinney lost 6-2, 6-2; 3, Faith Franssen lost 6-1, 6-2.

Doubles: 2, Zena Husler/Alyssa Eden lost 2-6, 6-2, 7-5; 3, Mollie Briddell/Hannah Gluth lost 6-1, 7-5.

Oak Harbor (2-4) entertains Mountlake Terrace (0-2, 1-4) at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 9.
