Recording three of the top four individual scores, the Oak Harbor High School girls golf team easily won a three-team match at Whidbey Golf and Country Club Thursday, March 21.

In conditions coach Andy Wesley called “cold, windy and not fun to golf in,” the Wildcats’ Annie Leete shot a five-over 41 in nine holes to post the best score.

Teammate Bree Roderos finished second with a 50, and KC Winfield and Cassidy Gurich tied for fourth with 56. Katie Brockway shot 65 for 10th, and freshman Resego Mooki, in her varsity debut, shot 72, good for 14th out of 23 golfers.

Oak Harbor shot 268, breezing by Marysville Getchell (293) and Everett (372).

The Wildcats go to Marysville’s Cedarcrest Golf Course to face Glacier Peak and Marysville-Pilchuck at 3 p.m. Wednesday, March 27.
