Wildcats slip by Marysville Getchell | Tennis

By sweeping the three doubles matches, the Oak Harbor High School tennis team eked out a 4-3 win over visiting Marysville Getchell Tuesday, March 19.

Chelsea Admire and Jamie Estrella took first doubles 7-6(7-0), 6-1; Zena Husler and Alyssa Eden captured second doubles 7-6(7-2), 4-6, 6-4; and Brittany Rigby and Caterina Amsler won third doubles 6-1, 6-3.

Faith Franssen snared fourth singles 6-1, 6-2 to collect Oak Harbor's fourth point.

In other singles action, Chelsea Atkinson (first) lost 6-0, 6-1; McKenzie Perry (second), lost 6-1, 6-2; and Kyla McKinney (third) lost 6-1, 6-0.

Oak Harbor (1-0, 1-2) goes to Everett's (0-0, 1-1) Clark Park at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, March 21.
