Arlington tops Oak Harbor | Tennis

Arlington stopped the visiting Oak Harbor tennis team 5-2 Friday, March 15.

The Wildcats’ McKenzie Perry squeaked out a 3-6, 6-2, 7-6 comeback win in second singles.

In third doubles, Brittany Rigby and Caterina Amsler won 6-2, 6-2.

Oak Harbor also won two exhibition doubles matches: McKinley Kellogg and Dallas  Breilein 6-1, 6-4; and Mollie Briddell and Hannah Gluth 8-6.

Other varsity results:

Singles: 1, Chelsea Atkinson lost 6-1, 6-0; 3, Kyla McKinney lost 6-1, 6-2; 4, Faith Franssen lost 7-5, 6-4.

Doubles: 1, Chelsea Admire/Jamie Estrella lost 6-2, 6-4; 2, Zena Husler/Alyssa Eden lost 7-5, 7-6.

Oak Harbor (0-2) hosts Marysville Getchell at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 19.
