Wildcats hammer Getchell | Volleyball

The Oak Harbor High School volleyball team blitzed winless Getchell 3-0 Thursday, Oct. 18, in Marysville.

Coach Kerri Molitor said it was a "great effort from the entire team" in the 25-8, 25-13, 25-17 win.

Kayleigh Harper had nine kills and Roshel Muzzall eight; neither had any hitting errors.

Hannah Salmons and Ally McGuire each recorded three aces.

Setters Taylor Nienhuis and Natalie McVey (in her first varsity action) dished 12 and 10 assists respectively.

Oak Harbor (4-3, 6-7) plays in the Anacortes Tournament at 9 a.m. Saturday and wraps up league play at home with Marysville-Pilchuck (2-4, 5-7) at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24.
