The up-and-down Oak Harbor High School volleyball team continued its roller-coaster season with a 3-1 loss at Everett Tuesday, Oct. 16.

The Seagulls (3-2, 6-5) moved a half game up on Oak Harbor (3-3, 5-7) for second place in the Wesco 3A standings with the 25-13, 22-25, 25-13, 25-18 win.

Oak Harbor coach Kerri Molitor said, "Very disappointing.  We know that we can play at a certain level, but do not perform when it counts. Defense continues to be a struggle for us, as well as unforced errors. We are trying to get a flow going.  We have very talented individuals, when they get together and play as one, watch out."

The Wildcats did get strong games from Roshel Muzzall (14 kills, 19 digs), Kayleigh Harper (18 kills, two aces) and Taylor Nienhuis (41 assists).

Oak Harbor goes to Marysville Getchell (0-5, 0-11) at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 18,  and then to the Anacortes Invitational at 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 20.
