Wildcats shoot blanks at GP | Tennis

Glacier Peak strolled to a 7-0 win over the visiting Oak Harbor High School tennis team Wednesday, Sept. 26.

Grizzlies (7-3) won all seven matches in the nonleague contest in straight sets, blanking the Wildcats in five of the 14 individual sets.

The Wildcats (1-3, 2-8) meet Mountlake Terrace (2-8) in a home nonleague match at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 27.

Oak Harbor results versus Glacier Peak:

Singles: 1, William Southard lost 3-6, 2-6; 2, David Kusnick lost 4-6, 3-6; 3, Carter Saar lost 1-6, 0-6; 4, Harrison Miller lost 2-6, 3-6.

Doubles: 1, Tom Dale/Jacob Nelson lost 0-6, 0-6; 2, Sean Kelley/Jozef Mendoza lost 0-6, 0-6; 3, Casiano Atienza/Antonio Unpingco lost 3-6, 1-6.
