Wildcats rip MP | Tennis

Putting in a dominant performance, the Oak Harbor High School tennis team ripped visiting Marysville-Pilchuck 6-1 Wednesday, Sept. 19.
The Wildcats took all four singles matches in straight sets over the Tomahawks (0-4, 1-6): 1, William Southard won 6-0, 6-1; 2, David Kusnick won 6-1, 6-2; 3, Carter Saar won 6-0, 6-0; and 4, Harrison Miller won 6-3, 6-3.
Casiano Atienza and Antonio Unpingco won second doubles 6-2, 4-6, 6-2; and Tom Dale and Jacob Nelson cruised in third doubles 6-0, 6-1.
Ziwei Peng and Jose Dimaculangan lost in first doubles 3-7, 5-7.
Sean Kelley and Jozef Mendoza took an exhibition doubles match 8-3.
Oak Harbor (1-3, 2-5) challenges Shorewood (5-2) in a nonleague home match at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 20.
