David Phay, head pro at the Whidbey Golf and Country Club, won the 25th annual Rosauers Open Invitational at Indian Canyon in Spokane July 14 to 16.

Phay took the lead with scores of 62 and 64 the first two days, then built a five-stroke lead during the final round before two-time champion Corey Prugh rallied late to tie.

A birdie on the final hole earned Phay the title and $11,000.
