3 Oak Harbor golfers among leaders in WJGA district meet

Three Oak Harbor golfers are among the leaders in their divisions after round one of the Washington Junior Golf Association District 1 Tournament at the Gallery Golf Course Monday, July 16.

Annie Leete leads the girls 14-15 division with an 88, while Christine Fields is in third with a 96.

Haven Brown is in a three-way tie for third, one stroke behind the leader, with a 42 in the boys 8-11 division.

The tournament finishes up Tuesday with the second and final round.

Fields tees off at 11:54 a.m., Leete at 12:03 p.m. and Brown at 1:15 p.m.
