4 teams tie for 1st in WG&CC Ladies Invitational

Four teams tied for the title in the 38th annual eclectic Ladies Invitational at the Whidbey Golf and Country Club June 28 and 29.
The four winning groups, who shot a gross score of 69, included Cathy Chapman and Lori Johnson, Ocki Dureau and Jenny Park, Dorothy Pollard and Meg LaDolce, and Ann Denhart and Diane Halvorson.
The top net score in Flight 1 of 51 was recorded by Gerine Voegtlin and Jen Di Base.
In Flight 2, Paula Oldenburg and Joan Waldron took top gross honors with a 77, while Pat Meehan and Raye Zenter had the best net score, 51.
