Dale, Bressler win Sports Report Scholarship

Oak Harbor High School seniors Heather Dale and Hannah Bressler received the Oak Harbor Sports Report Scholarship for 2012.

Dale competed in cross country and track for four years at Oak Harbor High School and was inspired most by coach Andy Wesley and former teammates Adrianna Royal and Allison Duvenez.

She plans to major in English at Pepperdine University in Malibu, Calif.

Bressler ran track for four years and participated in soccer and cross country for two years each. She sited coach Eric Peterson and Royal as inspirations.

She will major in physical therapy at Willamette University in Salem, Ore.

Each winner will receive $500 to use toward college expenses.
