Coupeville's Phillips, Fields earn first-team honors

Coupeville's Taylor Phillips and Austin Fields, first-team all-league selections, paced the post-season honors for the Wolves when the Cascade Conference announced its all-star teams this week.

Phillips, a senior, was selected to the all-league soccer team as a fullback. Also in soccer, Nathan Lamb earned second-team honors and Luke Pelant was honorable mention.

Fields, a junior, was a first-team boys golf pick, and his freshman sister Christine was second team among the girls.

Senior Mitch Pelroy was second team in the 200 meters in track and field.

Senior Ali Trumbull and freshman Hailey Hammer earned second-team honors in fastpitch, while teammates sophomore Madeline Roberts and freshman McKayla Bailey were honorable mention.
