Short stay for Wolves at tri-distict | Tennis

It was short run for the Coupeville High School entries in the tri-district tennis tournament at the Amy Yee Tennis Center in Seattle Thursday, May 17.

In singles, Emily Burchfield fell 0-6, 1-6 in the first round, then picked up a 6-2, 6-2 win. The Coupeville senior was then eliminated with a 2-6, 2-6 loss.

In doubles, Lexi Blanchette and Amanda d'Almeida dropped a pair of 6-3 sets to a team from University Prep, then lost 3-6, 1-6 to a duo from the Charles Wright Academy.
