Everett takes match | Girls golf

Behind the medalist play of Jody Barhonovich, the Everett girls golf team defeated Oak Harbor and Glacier Peak at the Whidbey Golf and Country Club Tuesday, May 1.

Everett finished with 194 Stableford points in the 18-hole match, while Glacier Peak scored 173 and Oak Harbor 162.

The Wildcats' Annie Leete finished two points behind Barhonovich with 62 points; no other golfer earned more than 40.

For Oak Harbor, KC Winfield scored 32, Katie Brockway 31, Bree Roderos 29 and Hannah Crouse eight.

Next up is the Wesco 3A championships hosted by Oak Harbor at the Whidbey Golf and Country Club at noon Tuesday, May 8.
