Wildcats 2nd to Everett in 4-team match | Girls golf

Oak Harbor finished second to host Everett in a four-team girls golf match at the Legion Memorial Course Thursday, April 26.

Everett scored 227 Stableford points over 18 holes, followed by Oak Harbor (204), Mountlake Terrace (197) and Meadowdale (163).

The Wildcats' Annie Leete (58 points) and Bree Roderos (47) finished 2-3 in the medalist race; Everett's Jody Barhanovich won with 65.

KC Winfield scored 38 for the Wildcats, Cassidy Gurich 32, Katie Brockway 29 and Hannah Crouse 20.

Oak Harbor coach Andy Wesley said, "Strong performance out of the girls last night; Everett is just a little better than us."

The 'Cats take on Kamiak at 3 p.m. Monday, April 30, in a nonleague match at Whidbey Golf and Country Club.
