Oak Harbor dumps Getchell | Tennis

The Oak Harbor tennis team tamed visiting Marysville Getchell 5-2 Monday, April 23.
The win enabled the Wildcats to break a six-match losing streak and up their record to 3-9. MG fell to 0-11.
In singles, Oak Harbor received wins from Alexa Holmly (1: 6-4, 6-4), Jennifer Fremd (3: 6-1, 6-0) and Chelsey McKenzie (4: 5-2, 6-4).
In doubles, Wildcat winners were Molly Van Dam and McKenzie Schneider (1: 6-2, 6-2) and Rachelle Muzones and Joyce Abides (2: 4-6, 6-1, 6-1).
Shannon Neilon dropped second singles 2-6, 2-6; and Jenny Landingin and Stephanie Milliron fell in third doubles 4-6, 3-6.
Oak Harbor travels to Mountlake Terrace (6-5) Tuesday, April 24, and Shorewood (9-2) Monday, April 30.
