Elias Whitefoot tees off on the way to medalist honors Monday.

Helped by Elias Whitefoot's medalist round of 81, the Oak Harbor boys golf team finished second in a four-team nonleague match at the Whidbey Golf and Country Club Monday, April 23.

Sedro-Woolley took the match, played in sunny weather, with 433 strokes. Oak Harbor finished with 452, Anacortes 461 and Lakewood 549.

Anacortes' Jamie Corral tied Whitefoot for medalist on the par-72, 18-hole course.

Oak Harbor's other scores were Caleb Knaack 85, Hunter Adams 89, Mackenzie Kerfoot 92, Jake Nelson 105 and Quinnton Wallace 115.

In an unofficial JV match, Oak Harbor defeated Sedro-Woolley and Lakewood 275-280-324.

The Wildcats get back into league action at 3 p.m. Thursday, April 26, when Mountlake Terrace, Meadowdale and Everett come to town.
