Wildcats pick up close win | Girls golf

Behind strong performances by Annie Leete and Bree Roderos, the Oak Harbor High School girls golf team eked out a win in a three-team match at the Whidbey Golf and Country Club Tuesday, April 10.
The Wildcats nipped Lynnwood 66-63 in Stableford points; Mountlake Terrace scored 52.
The Wildcats' Annie Leete earned medalist honors with 31 points over nine holes, eight points better than second-place Izzy Maza of Lynnwood; Roderos finished third with 17.
Oak Harbor's KC Winfield added nine, Cassidy Gurich six and Katie Brockway three.
Oak Harbor's next three matches are on the road, starting with the Burlington Invitational at 11 a.m. Monday, April 16, at the Skagit Country Club.
