Wildcats 3rd in 4-team match | Boys golf

Quinnton Wallace led the way for the Oak Harbor High School boys golf team as it finished third under heavy rain in a four-team meet at the Nile Golf Course Thursday, March 29.

Edmonds-Woodway won the nine-hole event with 216 strokes. Marysville Getchell had 217, Oak Harbor 234 and Mariner 289.

Wallace placed fifth overall with a 43, one stroke better than teammate Elias Whitefoot. William Poe shot 46, Hunter Adams 48, Jake Nelson 53 and Caleb Knack 54.

Edmonds-Woodway's Dylan Merrill earned medalist honors with a 38.

Oak Harbor takes part in the Tom Dolan Memorial Invitational Monday, April 9.
