Leete 1st, Wildcats 2nd at WG&CC | Girls golf

Annie Leete shared medalist honors and the Oak Harbor High School girls golf team placed second in a three-team meet at the Whidbey Golf and Country Club Tuesday, March 27.
Leete scored 32 Stableford points in the nine-hole match to tie Shorewood's Cassie McKinley.
McKinley's team won with 88 points; Oak Harbor recorded 70 and Marysville Getchell 40.
The Wildcats received 17 points from Bre Roderos, nine from KC Winfield, eight from Katie Brockway, four from Hannah VonGrey and three from Cassidy Gurich.
Oak Harbor doesn't play again until 3 p.m. Tuesday, April 10, when Lynnwood and Mountlake Terrace come to WG&CC.
