The shorthanded Oak Harbor High School boys golf team finished third in a three-team match at the Jackson Golf Course Tuesday, March 27.
Marysville Getchell won with 229 strokes, followed by Shorewood (234) and Oak Harbor (279).
Wildcat senior Elias Whitefoot finished fifth overall with a nine-hole total of 44.
Because of "behavioral issues" with four starters, Oak Harbor coach Jeff Pryor filled out the remainder of his lineup with freshmen. Raiden Poe shot 51, Steven Timm 61, Tom Dale 61, Carter Saar 62 and Ethan McKie 67.
Oak Harbor plays Edmonds-Woodway at the Nile Golf and Country Club Thursday, March 29.
