Fast start helps Seagulls fly by Oak Harbor | Fastpitch

Everett scored nine runs in the first two innings on the way to a 12-0 win over the Oak Harbor High School fastpitch team at Hillcrest Elementary School Friday, March 23.

The undefeated Seagulls (2-0, 6-0) used eight hits, three walks and two Oak Harbor errors to sprint to the early lead in the five-inning game.

Everett finished with 15 hits while the Wildcats managed only two, singles by Hannah Salmons and Emily Hunt.

Keilanna Harper, Lauren Kesterson and Alexie Leven combined to get 10 of the Everett's hits.

Oak Harbor (0-2, 2-4) goes to Mountlake Terrace (0-1, 2-2) Monday, March 26, and then hosts Meadowdale (1-1, 1-2) at 4 p.m. Wednesday, March 28.
