Leete earns medalist honors; 'Cats finish 3rd | Girls golf

Oak Harbor's Annie Leete took medalist honors but the Wildcats finished third in a three-team girls golf match at the Snohomish Golf Course Thursday, March 22.

Snohomish won the nine-hold match with 112 Stableford points, followed by Glacier Peak with 53 and Oak Harbor 42.

Leete led the day with 26 points. Hannah VonGrey was next for the 'Cats with 11 points; Cassidy Gurich scored a personal best three points; and Courtney Dykes, Kitana Hernandez and Hannah Crouse each scored one point.

Next up is a home match with Marysville Getchell and Shorewood at the Whidbey Golf and Country Club at 3 p.m. Tuesday, March 27.
