After the Archbishop Thomas Murphy offense finally warmed up, it was hard to stop as the Wildcats defeated the Coupeville High School soccer team 5-0 at King's School Tuesday, March 20.

The Wolves kept ATM (2-0) off the scoreboard for 28 minutes, then the Wildcats scored "their first goal on a cracking shot from 20 yards out that no keeper could have stopped," according to coach Paul Mendes.

Mendes said, "We played some good defense for the first 30 minutes…ATM is a top level team -- fast, physical and skillful. We had some good moments in the match that we can build on."

Coupeville (0-1, 1-1) heads to Cedarcrest (1-0, 1-1) at 6 p.m. Friday, March 23.
