Doubles trouble hurts Oak Harbor | Tennis

Oak Harbor won three singles matches but host Meadowdale dominated the doubles to eke out a 4-3 tennis win Wednesday, March 21.
The Wildcats won in first, third and fourth singles with Alexa Holmly (7-5, 6-3), Jennifer Fremd (6-1, 6-2) and Chelsey McKenzie (5-7, 6-4, 6-3) getting the wins over the Mavericks (2-2).
Shannon Neilon fell in second singles 2-6, 2-6.
Doubles results: 1, Rachelle Muzones/Joyce Abides lost 2-6, 3-6; 2, Molly Van Dam/Tiffany Kepner lost 5-7, 4-6; and 3, Jenny Landingin/Stephanie Milliron lost 1-6, 0-6.
Oak Harbor (1-3) goes to Marysville Getchell (0-4) at 3:30 p.m. Friday, March 24.
