Coupeville drops match to South Whidbey | Tennis

After a couple of rainouts, the Coupeville finally got to start the tennis season; however, the Wolves fell 5-0 to visiting South Whidbey Monday, March 19.
Coach Ken Stange said, "It's always difficult to face the most difficult opponent in the first match, but we will take those lessons and apply them to our future opponents."
The Wolves host Granite Falls at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, March 22.
Results:
Singles: 1, Emily Burchfield lost 1-6, 1-6; 2, Allie Hanigan lost 2-6, 0-6.
Doubles: 1, Amanda d'Almeida/Grayson Adkins lost 0-6, 4-6; 2, Julie Myers/Makenna Martyn lost 1-6, 0-6; 3, Holly Craggs/Rachael Parker lost 1-6, 1-6.
