Tori Nickerson of Oak Harbor and Rachel Weinstein of Coupeville have continued swimming at the collegiate level this winter.

In the alumni update published last Saturday about Oak Harbor and Coupeville high school athletes who are competing in college winter sports, Nickerson and Weinstein were inadvertently skipped.

Nickerson, a freshman at Linfield College (McMinnville, Ore.), posted the best times in the 100 and 200 breaststroke for the Wildcats this season and had top-four times in four other events.

She placed 11th in the 100 breaststroke and 12th in the 200 breaststroke at the Northwest Conference championships early this month.

Weinstein, a freshman at the University of Redlands (Redlands, Calif.), swam distance events for the Bulldogs and placed 25th in the 1,600 freestyle in the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championships.
