King's remained undefeated in Cascade Conference play by rolling by the Coupeville High School boys team 75-18 Saturday, Jan. 21, in Coupeville.
The sixth-ranked Knights (9-0, 13-2) took little time in proving why they sit atop the league standings by racing to a 30-7 first-period lead.
Coach Anthony Smith said, "With the four days off (because of snow), it was like day one for us."
King's held 51-12 and 61-15 leads after the second and third quarters.
Only four Wolves scored, led by senior Mitch Pelroy with seven points, one more than Aaron Curtin. Nick Streubel added three and Taylor Ebersole two.
Four Knights scored in double figures, topped by James McCutchen with 18.
Coupeville (0-9, 0-13) will aim to break into the win column at Granite Falls (4-4, 7-7) Tuesday, Jan. 14, at 7 p.m.
